HyperAMS has been exclusively retained to market and sell the assets a nationally recognized, full-service home furnishings supplier with a track record of success since 1997. With a strong focus on Mid-Century, Industrial, and Modern design aesthetics, the company markets and sells to and or has established relationships with major national chains, independent retailers, and leading e-commerce platforms.
The assets can be bid on and purchased in their entirety or by business asset categories consisting of inventory, intellectual property, equipment, and accounts receivable (individually or combinations thereof).
Inventory
Cost value of more than $7 million. Product categories include seating and stools, tables & occasional, office, lighting, and furniture & bedroom.
Intellectual Property
Consists of customary items including but not limited to the company name, customer lists, historical sales and inventory data, web domain, phone numbers, etc. In addition, the company possesses 7 registered House Marks, 12 registered Product Marks, more than 20 Product Copyright Registrations, and 10 active Patents.
Equipment
Assets include more than 1,200 sections (up to 21’ high) racking, 6 reach trucks and forklifts, and a full complement of office furniture and computers.
Accounts Receivable
Amounts are due from major retailers, e-commerce businesses, and independent retailers.
Sales Channels
The company markets and sells to major retailers such as Target, Home Depot, and Ashley Furniture, notable e-commerce platforms including Wayfair, Overstock, and Amazon, and sells to more than 50 independent retailers.
Product Development & Procurement
The catalog is derived from the company’s talented in-house designers, who constantly create original and unique product collections and work with established oversees partners who manufacture the products to the company’s specifications.
Operations
Fulfillment of customer orders takes place from a 365,000 square foot leased warehouse, located in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
Human Resources
The company has approximately 37 employees, 6 in management and administration, 12 focusing on sales and account management, 4 dedicated to product merchandising and procurement, and 15 in inventory and warehouse operations.
